Fellow Drywall Tradesmen

Just want to say hello and that I look foward to chating and comparing notes w/ all of you. I started my drywall company in 1995. We do residential and commercial. Hang, Finish,Texture,Repair, and Paint. Over the last 4 years along w/residetial jobs we have been doing alot of Hotel renovations. After crews remove vinyl wallpaper and treat any mold that exsits. We come in and repair areas or replace and finish entire room walls. After walls are ready fo texure we prime w/ a stain blocking primer. Then it's time for the commercial grade color texture system. Step one: paint walls w/ matcing color of texture. Step two: Apply commercial knockdown texture to walls. After texture dries it's time to cover the walls w/ pastic and repair, prime, and paint the aqoustic (popcorn) ceilings. (I know ceilings before walls.) But hotel rooms are tight and buy the time you prime walls twice and texture your nice white ceilings have a line where ever your masking stopped. Hotels are very challenging because they still have to make money during renovations. So deadlines are tight and tensions are high. We have done over 3000 hotel rooms in the last 4 years. WOW I feel better now carry on! I know this should have been in introductions. But most of you would not of read it there.

Got to be honest with you. If times are slow my truck will look similar but none of our trucks have looked that shiny in a while. Hopefully that isnt your job site truck.
