Fast Caps
Hey guys I was just looking thru the trim-tex catalog and discovered " FAST CAPS". Have you guys used these before? They look like a extreme time saver! The problem is that in my area skip texture is heavily used and I feel that it would be noticed if texture was not on the cap. Does the mud stick ok? Does it look weird? Comments? Questions? Criticisms?

Re: Fast Caps
I've used them. Yes, mud sticks to them. In fact I have always had to mud the bottom side, the four inch side. They are really fast on an arch. My supplier quit carrying them. wish I could still get them. the last time I bought them, I bought direct from TrimTex. Good stuff.

Re: Fast Caps
When prices were better I used them all the time. Now its a tossup between time saved and my labor which dosent seem worth crap anymore. If you can justify the price...they are great. They also as Tim said come in arch 18' I think. Had a house with 20+ arches and it was perfect. Yes mud will stick well. Just have to caulk corners when you do square doorways and such.
