Dywalling Upto A Concrete Ceiling...

I was playing poker and drinking at a buddys house, (condo) and noticed he had concrete ceilings with sheetrock for walls...
Just a question I was asking my drunk a55 while playing,.. How do you treat the inside corner where the 2 meet? Do you just treat it as the ceiling is sheetrocked or..??? It didn't appear that the ceiling had been mudded, but, I was drunk, so who knows...
Anyway, not important, but just a wonderin..

Depends what the customer wants, I prefer to use a tear away bead for a nice straight edge, but I have also flat taped it.

So you could see the exspasion joints? Here the corners get treated as if the ceiling is drywall. And the expansion joints get paper taped aswell. Then textured w/ Knockdown or Popcorn. (back when popcorn was a desired finish.)

Yeah, the joints were apparent. While waiting on a hand to run, I was just staring at the ceiling and noticed the joints...
