Drywall In WI


Just wondering if you need to have a contractors lic to install and mud drywall in WI. Im Lic. in MN but not in WI. Thanks for the help

To pull a permit unless you are the homeowner, you need a license. To get a license you need insurance. Some cities you may need a permit for drywall and some not, depending how far out in the sticks you are. Here is you inspectors page

All city requirements are different. Some you have to register in that city. I had to get fingerprinted in one. Tested in another. Voted in from a commitee in another. Regaurdless of city's you still need to register at the state level...
