Drywall Tools
Just want to say what a great site! I am happy to say I am a contractors wife/gofor who happily spends what time I can making my man's life easier.
In the past we were able to hire out the drywall end of construction, but lately have had to do some of of the smaller drywalling jobs. The guys used old obsolete back breaking tools, and done such a good job of if, now have 4 houses and one shop/warehouse to do. In needing to find a quicker, easier way for them to do this, I have been from one end of the intranet to the other and it seems, the NorthStar tape tool set, bead boxers, nail spotter seem to be highly rated. Great stuff on YouTube. So I ordered them and also stilts, drywall lift, cable porter sander/vac and bullnose corner roller for the guys. Thank Goodness one of our men is in the process of remodelling an old house, drywalling the whole top floor. So when tools arrive will use his place as training ground--any tips I can give them? I wondered about how many cutting blades, needless and cables these tapers go through, how many should i have in stock!! |
