Drywall Job In Jersey

Hello Amigos.

I got a potential opportunity to rock a house new construction
What's the going rate for hanging, taping and mudding- ready to paint
in New Jersey?

I've rocked but not to that size.
Any tips on pricing this job?

Thanks!

If you have to ask what to charge, you can't compete.

Seriously.

Unless your all illegal workers, I don’t think you can even compete, especially if you are in south Jersey.

Re: Drywall Job In Jersey

hahah wow, and where are you paying this? that means a 16x17 room is only $81.60 including rock, hang, and taped? The rock alone costs more than that!!!

Re: Drywall Job In Jersey

Square footage means square foot of rock used. 48 sq.feet per sheet if using 4x12. .30 per square foot of floor space would not be very much money, now would it?

This guy would be an interesting one to bid against... I would be way high or way low, depending how he counted his feet footage or his wall feet.

I hear the electricians are getting 20.00 per opening. That's way too much. don't you think?
