Calculating Mud And Tape

Does anyone have an easy way of calculating how many boxes of mud and rolls of tape would be required based on square footage of drywall to be installed?

For example if I am installing 4,200 sq. feet of drywall how much mud will I need. I would be using the westpac boxes.

Thanks

Re: Calculating Mud And Tape

As a baseline I use a 5 Gal Bucket of USG mud for every 10 (4x12) sheets of rock and 1 200' roll of tape.

The formula that I use is 1 bx taping, 2 bx of topping, and a roll of tape per 1000 sq. ft
