BFast Drywall Tools

I see a lot of talk about the Apla Tech tools. Do any of you guys use the BFast Tools? I have a set of Apla tech, just wondering how they compare. And wondering about the angle coater.

They look more hi-tech than Apla-Tech. Perform the same as the CFS I reckon. At least they haven't wasted their time making coaters.

Thank you Taper. I ran a Google after I posted. Looks OK, not sure it is worth the $9K for what it is. Am I missing something?

If you go to the about us page it shows a pic of the angle coater. Looks just like a hockey box, and I would assume you use any angle head. I like the looks of the Bfast spray rig set up better than the 1 bucket graco mark v for apla tech. I have never heard of this company up until now.

Re: BFast Drywall Tools

I noticed in the video, the guy running the regular box was pulling up the bottom of the flat, where the guy running the bfast was skipping the bottom of the flat. I figure it was to make them seem faster, kinda a cheap shot, the tool looks okay, tho. The alpha-tech cfs is basically the samer set-up with the box handle for regular boxes. They say their system is low pressure rather than high pressure like cfs, may have some merit. But I got more tools than I can use now LOL.

My thinking, also. (On the bottom flats and the pressure). One guy said 9k to buy? Wowser!! Seems a bit pricey. The guy from Bfast emailed me today and said they have an in house demo the week of Aug. 4 in Little Rock Ak.

Gentlemen..check out All-Wall there is new information about the Bfast System. The re-designed angle tool is a one touch applicator used with any angle head and speed is unbelievable. New videos and user comments to be posted on the bfast website soon. This topol was designed by a drywall contractor for drywall contractors. The pumping system was designed by Graco specifically for Bfast Tools and does everything from run the tools, to texturing, to painting...multi use. Advertised at All-Wall for $7895....a Bargain! 75% less time than what? That is an awfully broad statement...
I am concerned about the longevity of the Graco pump pumping something as abrasive as drywall mud at the pressure an airless pumps. That was tacky wording... Sorry.
I would love to see one in real life action. I am only eight hours from the plant and would like to visit.

I have got my bfast mudder up and running and just cannot belive how fast you can do a hole wall with the box, such a nice level line out the back, really looking forward to trying the angle head. It comes out of the box and ready to make money. Well post an update after a month of use of all its features.

A hole wall??

Glad to hear it works great for you? Is it really 9 smackers? Whew, that's a ton for speed. How much faster than tools? (Tape Tech, Northstar and the such.)
