Best Tools Available

Hi folks What a great find this site is!
My question is if you bare with me, ....which full set of tools would you guys reccomend purchasing as a start up in drywall (speedtaping)
I live on the west coast of Ireland and am a plasterer of 25 years standing, I am originally from the U.K. where drywall, taping and jointing, dot and dab, browning, bonding and skim coat as well as many other forms of plastering are the norm. In Ireland however there is one way to plaster and that is sand cement renders and plaster skim, termed float and set. It is a traditional wet plastering system onto block built construction, but slowly, very slowly the more inovative methods that are less labour intensive and costly are beginning to come to the fore. I have done a fair bit of hand taping but feel the way foward is to invest in a quality full kit and "take the west by storm" as no one as yet has taken up with mechanical taping, but the market is there.
I have looked at the apla tech and the North star tools, are theese any good or are there better on the market. Your opinions would be most appreciated, with thanks,

legs-akimbo.

Re: Best Tools Available

I run tape tech and am happy and I'm sure others run stuff that they are happy with. All I know is you get what you pay for. So dont go and buy the cheapest tools you can find...you will regret it.
