Anyone Use Tapetech 3.5 Angle Head?

Hey All, I stopped by here a couple months ago and introduced myself. Mainly been riding the storm out over here, but hopefully things will pick up.

I've been lookin at revamping my angle head set up / hearing good things about the 3.5" Northstar Angle Heads so I was looking for opinions from others on here.

A) does anyone glaze a tapetech 3.0" angle head and then finish with a northstar 3.5" angle head? (are they compatible if run simultaneously?)

B) Saw a tapetech 3.5" angle head on their site and was wondering if anyone glazes with a tapetech 3.0" angle head and finishes with a tapetech 3.5" angle head? (are they compatible if run simultaneously? etc)

C) Was also wondering what size corner box you all prefer 7" or 8"???

Re: Anyone Use Tapetech 3.5 Angle Head?

We use the Tape Tech 3". Easy roll.(the one with wheels). Follow up the next coat with a NorthStar 3.5. Works great together. Use to use the 3 inch, then 2 inch. Seems the recession is too inconsistent and doesn't fill all the way out. Much better since we switched to 3 then 3.5. We like it...

Re: Anyone Use Tapetech 3.5 Angle Head?

Tim, I really appreciate your input on this. I kinda figured the 3" Tapetech & 3.5" Northstar angle head set up would work nicely... glad to hear it does, gonna get that goin soon. My guess is the only place it might not work is where a door jamb is less than 3" away from the corner, but thats no big deal. A 12" knife can take care of that.

Thanks
Al
