Heard nothing but criticism about them. Too bulky, easy to trap fingers between the powerful magnets, awkward if you want to cut a 600mm rip (that's 2 feet to you guys). Won't be bothering myself.

I saw a guy in Lowes the other day cutting a sheet with a hand saw. I bet he would have loved the blade runner. I was going to say something to him, but my evil side kicked in and I enjoyed the entertainment. (Yes He worked there)

I use mine for doing long rippers and window returns ect.......
I've used it so much I had to order the packet of replacement blades a couple of times. I like it.

Re: Anyone Tried The Blade Runner???

I bought one for myself and my father for Christmas. I don't have any jobs requiring drywall so I haven't tested it yet.

I almost bought a 2ft x 2ft sheet of drywall yesterday to test with but forgot.

Thanks. We didn't hang that one. We just did the finishing, texturing, and painting. It was a kitchen remodel. Maybe overkill with the purple board but what's it hurt?

MixAlot, you know I have much respect for you and your work and was only giving you a hard time since I haven't seen hand work in a while so I was just pulling your leg. Shoot, take away my boxes and it would take forever and not look half as good as yours!

Re: Anyone Tried The Blade Runner???

hello
i bought one a while back from all wall then they first came out with it
it cuts nice but by the time you fiddle around with the sheet you are cutting (if its on an A frame), you could cut it faster with a tape and knife.
