Hey Coppa23, are you staying in Toronto or making the trip to the west?

Too bad. Yeah, I have to scrape the floors. One company wanted me to sweep and cut out poly too.

I think I had mentioned this to everyone about two months ago and got lost of snarky replies. I guess everyone has to find out for themselves. It is really too bad that this is the situation here because there are a lot of good tradespeople across Canada that we could really use here. It would be good for everyone but alas the situation is not so rosy.
I had a cal from a guy who was working in the oil industry as a carpenter and he was stationed 100km north east of Dawson. Look it up on a map if you don't know where that is. Anyway he says he will never go back due to the hard living conditons.
I could always scan the phone book drywall listings to a file and email it off if anyone is interested.

Re: Alberta

Hey Coppa if you were interested in Calgary, they rent the dorm rooms at the University of Calgary out during the summer. I can't remember how much though, I think maybe $50. There is no cooking facilties or fridge though, just the room. Maybe they do that here in Edmonton, I'm not sure. No room at the inn here until the kids move out.
