Work On Sunday And Lose More Than You Make.

that was what my dad always said.after yesterday,i belive him.
i am tearing down scafolding yesterday by myself.3 jacks high.everything is going good until i get almost done.section 3 jacks wide 3 high,i get the top jacks off.working on the 2nd set.standing on one plank,i get the jack off and setting it down.i push it away from the jack i am on,but it falls back onto that jack.knocking it of the block it is on.i fall back into the wall, hitting my head and the down the wall 5 feet.at first i think im fine just dazed, until the blood come running down my face.i make it to my pickup and call 911.ambulance is 2 blocks away, but they have to go pick up the second emt.5 mins later the hood of my truck is covered in blood, and im just about out.they get me to the hospital...25 stitches in my head.cat scan of my head showed nothing, exwife told them,i could have told you that!might have a broken shoulder.
needless to say,i will NEVER work on the LORD'S DAY again.

Man that's rough. Glad your basically alright and hope you mend soon.

Since 1981 I have worked a total of 2 Sundays, and that's 2 too many. My wife deserves 1 day a week. It will still be there on Monday.

Good Luck
Dave
