Wholesale Bluestone From Pennsylvania?

Can anyone recommend a good source for mixed pattern bluestone that sells wholesale from a Pennsylvania quarry that they have dealt with, and that sells good quality material? I'm tired of dealing with 1/2 inch out of square material when laying patios and walkways.

1/2"? It's hard to even find 1/2" around here.....btw it's ALL out of square.
We use Tompkins a lot out of New York.

Try Rolling Rock, out of the Oley/Boyertown area.
SHould be a 610 number, and locatable using Google- wait, I think it's rollingrockquary.com or something of the like.
Gotta jet, but HTH,

Re: Wholesale Bluestone From Pennsylvania?

CJKarl, I mean 1/2 out of square, not the thickness of the material. We generally use 1" 1/4 to 2" thick material. Do you think a 1/2 tolerance is normal for bluestone? When you order guage thermal material it is right on, so I do not understand why the normal cleft material should be any different. We laid a 5000 square foot pool area last year in a ashler pattern and at times I felt like pulling my hair out because of the inconsistancy of the material.

Thanks Matt for the resource. I checked there site out and found another product I find interesting called Brazialian Montauk slate. Also I checked out your web site and must say I was truly impressed. Did you design your web site yourself? If so, then you are in the wrong business, although your work looks great. Like your motto.

The natural cleft stuff is notoriously out of square. I figure re cutting into my price.
