What Kinda Flashing Does Everyone Use?

I was wondering what type of flashing everyone uses for brick veneer houses on the foundation and behind brick lentels? wow theres been alot of posts since last time i was here! I guess i must have gotten busy.

Well either noone flashes there foundations and angle irons or maybe this post has already been discussed? some feedback would great!

You're right, at least arround here, no residential jobs are getting any masonry flashing( even $$$$$$$$$$ houses), that's reserved for commercial work, I know it's not right, but it's true; it must be a money issue( too expensive).

We use Vinly flashing on the lentels and brick shelves, we recommend led coated copper Thru wall flashing for all our Chimneys that come up thru house, and if on side of house we use just reg. led flashing unless its a stone veneer, then we recommend led coated unless the Home owner or Genral Cntrctr say its cost to much, which is the case most times. RI here

yes , forgot too mention the weepz, we use the waffer weeps every 3 bricks

ipco flashing...self adhesive backing. Dont forget to use the betylethelye (TAR) when adjoining two pieces and end dams. Do it right. or don't do it. At the base use Mortar net or else mortar will just block weeps.

just used that mesh on a church for the first time, i see the purpose but let me tell you what a hassle ,, but after you past it you are back to normal production,, And with the damns, ive seen them and worked along masons that used them but if you flashen well and put weeps where theyre needed should be no worries(( i over lap lentel no less then 6 "s , gives a good lentel flashing over door/window jam

those dams are becoming real popular up north , there really something to get used too , i worked on a wall with the dam going all the way to the top of the wall , i guess the roofers needed it for a roof line . what a pain in the ass , almost lost my job behind it
