Question

Topping For Concrete Porch Slab

I have a circa 1913 bungalow with three steps leading up to a concrete landing at the front porch. Over the years the slab next to the wall has settled about 2 inches. When it rains water puddles up against the brick wall. I was in the crawl space recently and saw a lot of water infiltration and brick deterioration.
Can anyone recommend a masonry topping product whereby I can raise the slab at the wall about 2 inches and then taper it down to the top of the last step? It seems that when I taper down to such a thin layer, just about any masonry product would crack and chip off.
Thanks,
Brad

Cement-All by Rapid Set is the product that I would recommend.

Add bonding primer to the base and before you finish the top enbbed a fiberglass mesh on the surface and broom finish

Would slab jacking or concrete lifting be an option?

Yes I know a guy who used hydrolic pressure and injected epoxies to luft almost anything.

I would suggest top side replacement, you won't regret it. You will even be able to reflash that side of your house too.

I have had bad luck skimming less then a 1/4" of any type of grout/cement and it looking nice and perfoming well.

Different route, but we've covered porches with brick, slate, and pavers for height adjustment & aesthetic concerns...

Might not work w/ the slop issue, but maybe build the whole thing up?
