Too Funny
who in here is old enough to remember BASS 0 MATIC from sat nite live?
i think i have found something that tops it. well.............it the all new CRETE SHEET!!!!!!the world's simplest concrete mixer.Designed to hold an 80 lb. bag of concrete, the CreteSheet completely blends to the desired consistency in less than two minutes with minimal effort. step 1 Lay the CreteSheet on the ground next to your work area. step 2 Place your dry cement or materials to be mixed onto the center of the sheet. step 3 Pour the appropriate amount of water or liquid into the mix. (all at once or in smaller amounts) step 4 Raise up the corners using the specially made handles, leaving heavy materials resting on the ground. (When working with a partner it is important to stand close, 2-3' apart) step 5 Alternately lift the handles, tumbling mixture back-and-forth from corner into the center of the sheet. step 6 Then, tilt the CreteSheet and pour into the desired area. No waste! No spills! Exact pour! you dont have help you say? Mixing solo is not a problem with the CreteSheet. Simply tie two handles to something sturdy like the back of your pick-up or a tree. http://www.rector-duncan.com/CreteSh...Video_768k.wmv i might just sell my cement mixers.this thing will fit in your tool box.

Re: Too Funny
Stacker,
The sad thing about it is the guy who invented that thing is probably laying out on the beach someplace drinking Mai Tai's counting his money and we have to get up and go to work tommorrow.

Re: Too Funny
Same with this guy:
http://www.loadhandler.com/ I tested one of his prototypes years ago, and it works well, even on a full pallet of pavers (2800#). |

Re: Too Funny
i have seen those, and would love to have one on my sand trailer.
as far as crete o matic goes,im sure it works, and i am sure he is selling them all over for diy's.it ranks up there with the 5 gallon bucket with a lid on it to mix concrete i seen on ebay once.just put your mix in the bucket, add water close the lid.roll it across the floor several times, shazam you have concrete.it shows that even the simplest things can make money.......for awhile.how many times does the lid on the bucket have to come off and spill mix all over your floor before you decide that the 14.99 plus shipping you spent on it wasnt worth it.or a pickle bucket from sonic works just as well.or when you pick up the crete sheet and the handle rips loss.and without a handle you have a 14.99 plus shipping, tarp.

Re: Too Funny
Looks like the "inventor" of the crete sheet spent some time in Mexico.

Re: Too Funny
Ya but the handles are ultrasonically welded
They could probably withstand a nuclear blast
