Tilt-up Vs. Masonry

Has anyone had any experience using tilt-up subcontractors vs. masonry? Do you think the cost is less for tilt-up or masonry?

Thanks.

It's more of a time factor. Tilt-ups go up very quickly

Re: Tilt-up Vs. Masonry

I like tilt-up and have done a ton of it. I like real masonry better. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, and only a life-cycle cost comparison can determine which is best for a particular job (other than asthetics).

Even though I have set a lot of panels over the years, I like real masonry better as well.
