Stucco

i will be starting a big stucco job sometime next week.will be putting it on about 3/4 inch thick over three coats.the last will be a smooth sand finish.
i have done alot of stucco over the past few years but mostly repair work.the job i am starting is on an 11,000 square foot home.most of the walls are 10 feet high.now i have 2 questions here.
1.should control joints be installed to keep the stucco from cracking.if so,how far apart should they go.i was thinking going up and down from the windows.
question 2.if control joints arent used, how do i keep seams from showing.
thanks for your help guys.

Re: Stucco

Control joints at windows and doors. As a rule of thumb, make no panel larger than 200 sqft and 100sqft works even better.
