Stone Panels


Hi 1st time posting in this section so please be nice

I was wondering is there some kinda of ext. panel that looks like flagstone,
I have a couple of buildings that I want to install this by the doors. Some one told me they have seen them kinda like z brick panels

im sure there is a panel like that somewhere.made from fiberglass or plastic more than likely.my only question is why would you want to use that.why not use phoney stoney,and have a good looking wall.

When I here flagstone,I think of flatwork.They sell profit phoney stone which is made in 3 piece panels,installed drystack.Ive seen some panels made of slate epoxy together.These panels similate a ledgestone. do this give any ideas?

Check out Eldorado stone or Culture stone they both have web sites with instructions. Or a local store like a Home Despot will carry a brand of manufactured light weight thin stone veneer. Also, in my area there are now some real stone quarries that are sawing there real stone into 3/4" stone for thin veneer, so check with a real masonry supply yard.

looks like the only thing cheap about this product is the look.i dont understand why people want to put a 10 dollar saddle on a 100 dollar horse.

yeah that stuff gives me the heeby jeebies. Makes stucco stone look real good.

just checked out the nextstone.It looks like its made for the Home owner to do.Cant tell if those are vertical 2x4's on the coners or do you gotta pay extra?Limestone and ledge are your only choses.Not a good recomdation Kyle.Your right about one thing though, looks like the the hardest part on installing it is putting on the panty hose

didnt say i was a fan, but its the only product i am familiar with that doesnt require mortar lath etc for a stone look

i thought that is what the poster was looking for, but i dont keep it in my car
