Stone Cleaning Problem

Went yesterday to do maintenance cleaning on a two year old bluestone job. The builder described the problem and it sounded like efflourescense. I had vanatrol in the shop so I took that. Completely ineffective. I've researched and discovered that the stains are "lime run". The problem is that custom masonry cleaner is recommended for lime run, but is not rated for sandstone. Any ideas? (Paging Tscarborough ...)

Re: Stone Cleaning Problem

Baking soda and water, we use it to wash down fresh concrete tops that have efflourescence. G

Re: Stone Cleaning Problem

Vanatrol is preferred for efflorescence, but if you have lime run, then you need 101 lime solvent.
