steps

what are you guys getting for a set of brick steps in your area... 125 a rise up north

I usually do steps for time and material only.

steps

Time & materials - If you don't come out why do it? No one is holding a gun to your head.

If you lose, it is because you did not cover all your time or you under-estimated your value and miscellaneous materials.

I just built a set of steps the other day. It was a set of five steps 4 feet wide and I charged $500.00 labor.

this set of steps i built for a customer last year cost them $500.00 labor only.the provided all material for the job.

steps like that can easily go into the grands wit material , how long did it take you to build them

just about too be finishing up a 6`x 7 1/2` platform with 7-1/2" rise, constructed of a stone veneer,,for a buddy of mine at his front door,,, T n M,, i toldem sense ya good friend of mine ill do it for $20 n hr,,im just about at 500,, but by the time i lay the the remaining stones and point off ( which should be another 3 hrs i hopeing) he`ll wind up paying me 580 too 600 for a project that would have costed him close to a Grand or more minus material,,, ill send some piks in when i finish it up tuesday or wedsday..
