ROFL!

That's how I usually find myself when I unplug something from a cord to plug something else in. Holding two male plugs. Can't say I've ever wired one up like that. Uh... without intending to.

Re: Senior Moment...

Oh, and to go with that, what's up with that law of physics that dictates that any time you go to connect a two-prong plug, you WILL try to do it backward before you get it right?

Re: Senior Moment...

It was like the feeling of face planting in a crowd and you get up so quick in hopes nobody see's it

I ran out to the garage like greased lightning to grab the right one and quickly loped it to hide the evidence...wife was like, "what are you doing"? ah, nothing honey, I'm good.

Re: Senior Moment...

I've seen that done years ago in a house where the people had left owing loads of cash. They had their electric cut off well before for not paying the bill, but as next door had a power point in the roof space they had knocked through the party wall and plugged into next doors electric ring and back into theirs to give them free electric.
Next door didn't realise untill the builders came in and luckily the sparks had seen it done before and didn't touch the plug and get 240v through him.

Re: Senior Moment...

Harmless brainfart, at least you admitted it. Plus it was an easy fix.
