Rebar Vs Chicken Wires
Hey fellow contractors, I have a client that would like me to pave their backyard with 3-4 inch of concrete, We are on a $800 budget. I know that it will be more cost effective if I were to use the chicken wires, but are there any Cons on these process. thx

Re: Rebar Vs Chicken Wires
$800? That'll give the wire and a few chickens, no mud!

The Area is a 12'x30'. It will have 3 1/2" of concrete to it. I will need 4 1/2yard of concrete for this.

Re: Rebar Vs Chicken Wires
4 1/2 yds in the south bay with underload charge and now increased sales tax has got to be hitting the $ 800.00 mark let alone prep, forms, base, rebar or mesh.
And 12x30...you using a Mexican dump truck to move the mud?

Re: Rebar Vs Chicken Wires
Wow, a little over $2 a sq ft including the mud.
Want to come up and work, I've got a few 5,000 to 10,000 sq ft slabs coming up. But a couple of them have to be glass smooth since they are going to be polished. |
