Please Help With Stucco Texture

Hey I installed a sliding glass door and had to fill in the gaps with about 3" band of stucco all the way around door. It was a retrofit job and thats all that could be done. I am trying to figure out how to texture to match the rest of the stucco. I normally do not do stucco and I dont know what the name of the texture is. Basically it looks like horizontal lines of stucco up the wall its real common in Florida I just dont know how to do it if anyone has any idea what I'm talking about please let me know how to match this. It looks like it was kinda troweled on and spread up just horizontal lines all the way up.

Re: Please Help With Stucco Texture

I guess you are talking about the swirl finish coat.Depends who makes the finish coat. If Dryvit, they have their own name for it. Try to find a dryvit dealer and ask for the finish texture that ends with letter.......putz. I don't remember out of my head how they exactly call it. Good luck. Post a photo so i can help more
