Over The Hump

Well, I just landed several big ones for this next year. I'm going to need help though. If you are or know exceptional stonemasons, send them my way.

Re: Over The Hump

it's not really the start of the season. I've still got to fill in until the end of March. From April til Oct. I'm good though.

Re: Over The Hump

Thats still very sweet. Do you know how many guys would love that? Your way ahead. And the best thing is you have time to put your production staff together and put your finances in order. I envy you.

What type of masonry do you do? What type of projects are already booked?

Re: Over The Hump

Look at his website from his signature. Custom stone work using traditional techniques.

Maybe if I have some time off during the summer I can take a sort of 'vacation' and come down and work for awhile. I love doing the artistic work like that, and unfortunatley noone up here is looking for that.

Re: Over The Hump

The projects are large custom homes. 6-7" stone veneer, fireplaces, flagstone. Right now I've got about 25,000 sq. ft. lined up. With more coming in, I'm gonna need more masons.

Re: Over The Hump

I envy you badly. Work here in Michigan is seemingly hard to come by. Has been slow for the last two years. I am going crazy.I have been laying stone for 16 years. Natural fieldstone, split stone, flagstone. what types are you laying?
