Moving Centennial Wall

started this project last march.tore down the original centennial wall and had a new slab poured and moved it about 75 yard south.
we also changed the design of the wall and made it smaller.all in all i think it turned out real nice.
here is a pic of us tearing the original wall down, you can get an idea of how big it was and where it sat.and a pic of the newly contructed wall.
the original wall had two wing walls coming off the back wall to about where my hired hand is standing.
also on the new wall, engraved bricks are on both the front and back.there is also another bench like the one pictured in the back.

Re: Moving Centennial Wall

If you tighten up your string on those windy days your wall would have come out straight.Just joking looks like it turned out nice.

Re: Moving Centennial Wall

a centennial wall is a way to raise funds.people pay 30-50 bucks to have there names engraved in brick, and then laid in the wall for all to see.the original wall that i tore down was built for the opening of the cherokee strip centennial i belive.the relocation of the wall is part of the oklahoma centennial.

thanks for the comments guys.
