Looking For Some Opinions On Paver Rate

Whats up guys, I looking for your opinions on the going rate for Pavers. I'm working on a bid for 1475 sq ft driveway (he wants red brick pavers) which also involves taking up the old concrete. The driveway is pretty much a rectangle so there won't be much cutting...LMK what you think.

My opinion is that you should either already know what it will cost you and how much you want to make, or you should not be doing it.

Pavers are the easiest thing to charge for - 10 cents a piece (labor only) & with todays economy you should probably skip charging for the driveway removal so you don't get underbid

Gimme the cusstomers contact info. If you get 10 real answers I'm going to offer him 10% less.

I thought I'd be crankier once I got this old.

Good Luck

Re: Looking For Some Opinions On Paver Rate

should get aleast 12$ a sqf . also depends on your men , if they know what they are doing , fast or slow workers . my guys would do that job in 2 days , 5 men ". some guys would take 4-5 days . but 10 sqf for install and $2 for ripout is fare price , also , do you have dump trucks , or need dumpsters , bobcat or hand removel ..what pavers , holland 4x8 or ? paver prices vary from 2 to 7 . , some companys could charge 15 psqf and others 8psqf $ and make same amount of money , depends on alot of things. but give them a good price and i will go and knock it out for you , for $10. lol lol .

I swing for the fences every time just about.

15ish per sq ft using icpi standards. icpi.org
