Learned A New Trick Today

This is kinda fun and you can impress your help.

Take a tape measure and pull it out a little past 108"
Bend the end of tape back on to itself so that the hook end is touching 108"
Now ask the person next to you what year they were born.
As an example I was born in 1962
Find 62" on the tape
Look across from the 62" mark to the other side of the tape
It lines up with 46...my age.
This trick will always work. In 2009 just hold the end of the tape to 109"

You can now tell your help you're a human calculator. Get the tape set up and ask them their age, in a second you will tell them what year they were born in.

Of course you could just use subtraction and figure it out, but what fun is that.

Better trick, pull out your buddies tape out to 108 inches write with a sharpie, That he is a complete and total a-hole and put it back without him seeing. Then stand back and wait for him to measure something 9' . That's when the fun starts.
