Re: Lay Offs Michigan Economy

This is the 1st year in 15 years of business that I haven't had a BIG job to get me through the winter.
Usually I have a large, high end stone job that I can tent in and keep busy for the winter. Not this year. I'm scrambling.

I don't do big jobs either or at least I try to stay away from them. The problem I have this week like Stacker said, it is cold here in southwest Missouri and there is about 1 inch of ice on the trees and power lines.Sure makes it hard for the framers and everyone else to get the houses ready for me to start.

Same here. Im relying on some piddly cultured stone fronts and the concrete countertops to keep me goin.

BTW big for me is 15-20k.

The Low is supposed to be around 40*with a high in the low 70's slightly cloudy.Hope it's not too hot for him...I'm going down there today to work at Thunderbird Heights.Got a bunch of white marble(rock) to do.It's on a roughly 10,000 sq.' house on two lots shaped like a thunder bird.
Let me know if he needs anything.
