Joint Seal Product
I have a garage turned family room in a house I am working on. The old foundation is abut 18" tall as is typical, when they built the family room they filled in the garage door cutout with concrete to match. Now the problem is that when it rains hard (as it will do in Oregon) the water can pool in front of that opening for a short time before it can get away. I am looking for a product that will seal that joint between the old foundation and the filled in part. The joint is maybe an 1/8" at the most so I need something that will flow well and seal well. The obvious solution is to fix the drainage problem, and that will be done later this summer, but for now I want to get this thing sealed up while everything is dry.

Re: Joint Seal Product
If it is only an 1/8", a regular joint sealer will not work. You can not form a proper joint unless you were to cut the joint to a minimum of 1/4"; 3/8" would be better. Your best bet is an epoxy.

Re: Joint Seal Product
if you have any movement you may want to stay away from an epoxy. a joint sealant would be a quick fix. like scarborough said joint width need to be at least 1/4 inch with 1/4 inch depth.
