Installing New Thru-wall Flashing @ Existing Wall.

I'm working on a project where there is either no thru-wall flashing or the thru-wall flashing was covered with a new epdm roof.

If there is no thru wall flashing when I get the roof taken off is there a way of installing new thru-wall?

It's a brick veneer wall w/ cmu backing.

I can only think of placing temporary lintels a couple feet up from the thru-wall location and removing the masonry. Installing the flashing then relaying the brick.

From What I Read That Sounds Like About The Only Way You Can Do It. I Would Have To Be There

Another option would be to cut out slots where you want the thru-wall 3 or 4 courses
high about 4 to 6 feet long. Leave 4 ft. of brick piers between the slots to support
the wall. You can saw slots in the cmu with a cut-out saw for the flashing or use
a self sticking flashing (Sandell?). I've used both methods with success. Lay brick in
hole, leaving enough flashing uncovered to lap when you remove the piers and flash behind them. Don't forget the weeps.

No actually the thru wall would be at the base of an approx. 30 foot wall.

I am confused. You say it was covered up by a new roof, but it is at the base of a 30 foot tall wall?!

I think your proposed solution would probably be worse than the existing situation. If there is no through wall flashing, it is not that big of a deal. Make sure the weeps are clear and barring bad joints, use a clear sealer for the brick.
