I am looking for a proven assembly to apply granite veneer over a suspended concrete exterior deck. This is a high end residential application in an area with extreme freeze and thaw conditions - Nova Scotia. I am considering a Schluter Detri-mat system as a waterproofing membrane following their application instructions.

Has anyone had any success (or failures) with this system?

Yes the Ditra membrane is an excellent system. It is the only one I would recommend for your application.
