Garage Floor
I'm going to be preparing a garage floor for office space. What would be the best material to smooth over the expansion joints? Should I use something like floor leveler or an elastic type of crack filler? A carpet is going to be laid in the area and the floor needs to be smooth.
Thanks! Lance Walsh Construction Services |

Re: Garage Floor
I would use self-leveling caulk from your local concrete supply yard. It stays very flexible and dries to a rubbery finish.

Re: Garage Floor
yes a self leveling caulk is the way to go...there is a product called sikaflex i use in all my joints and it works wonders, takes a little longer to dry but if you throw some baby powder ontop of it...you won't have any problem
