Frost Removal
Any thoughts on how to get the frost out of the ground. Working on a 3500 addition with 30ft ceilings and need to get the frost out of the ground ASAP. The area is hard to heat with the high ceilings and the 2100ft footprint first level. Think torpedo heaters would create too much condensation.

Re: Frost Removal
Is this so you can pour crete? There are a few variations of this on the market:
http://www.groundthaw.com/?q=index.cfm&menu=thaw or http://www.powerblanket.com/ They are pricy so you might check to see if you can rent. Last edited by gregj; 01-16-2008 at 02:43 PM. |

Re: Frost Removal
I've got the 10x10 powerblanket and it's been amazing! I use it to keep my sand dethawed. As soon as I got it I put it on a sand pile that had been sitting in sub -12 celcius temps, and it was no longer frozen overnight. I did put a second regular tarp on top, mostly just to disguise it though!
