Fiber Reinforced Slab Cost In Central NJ
Hi Guys,
New to the site. Lots of great info here. I'm pulling together a bid for large custom home in central NJ and was wondering if you guys could give me some insight on what the slabs should cost. My RSMeans residential cost book hasn't been terribly helpful. The architech has specified a Superior Wall precast foundation. Here are the slab specs: + ~2500sf basement slab, 4" thick, fiber reinforced concrete (no rewire), 6 mil poly, precast column footings will be supplied and placed by Superior Wall. In the middle of the basement there is a 6' x 6' x 12" slab for an elevator. All excavation, placement and leveling of crushed stone, and installation of sump pits will be done by other subs - or me. + ~900sf garage slab, 4" thick, fiber reinforced concrete, 6 mil poly. Plus an 18" x 36' apron will need to be formed and poured in front of the garage doors. There are no columns. To date my experience has been only very small (12' x 14') slabs for additions and a few 10'-15' x 4' runs of sidewalk, which almost always caused me to hit the concrete supplier's $300 minimum charge. Thanks for your assistance. Gary |
