Diesel Spill

the never ending project on my house is finally finished with the driveway put in yesterday. the problem is that the driveway guy spilled some diesel on my new exposed aggregate sidewalks. I sealed them after I poured them, so it was still a little damp, but still a stain. ANy suggestions for this type of stain?

Re: Diesel Spill

Easy, tell your driveway guy he owes you a new sidewalk.

Acetone, MEK, Lacquer Thinner, Denatured Alcohol, Mineral Spirits, Paint Thinner or Brake Cleaner Spray and then power wash it. After the stain is gone reseal it.

Re: Diesel Spill

Use an absorbent FIRST. If a stain remains, another Petroleum Distillate such as WD 40 will help surfact (not a real word. shortened from "surfactant") the residue!
