Cultured Stone Upside Down

I need to lay some cultured stone on the ceiling of an alcove used to store firewood adjacent to a fireplace. It's a small area only about 4 ft wide by 3 ft deep. I will also be laying the stone on the walls and back of the alcove. Will the stone stick to the ceiling or will I need to build some sort of support jig to keep it up while the thinset cures?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

It's best to add one live field mouse to the thinset mix, for some reason it makes it much much stickier. By the way welcome!!

And all this time I've
been using the white ones.
No wonder the problems!

It's great to be a member. Nice site!
Thanks for the speedy replies. Can you get those field mice at the builders supply?
