Re: Cultured Stone

I get $45-50 a sq ft. For labor only. Then another $15-20 per sq ft to strike the joints.

MIAMI -- A grilled cheese sandwich that has been a water cooler topic across America since a woman said she saw the Virgin Mary toasted into its surface is drawing bids of more than $69,000.

The Internet auction house eBay canceled bids for the half of a 10-year-old grilled cheese sandwich but the bidding was back on starting Tuesday.

Diana Duyser put the grilled cheese up for auction on eBay last week, drawing bids as high as $22,000 before eBay pulled the item Monday night.

Duyser reposted the ad Tuesday, and included a request for ebay to "please not pull the auction off."

By 5 p.m. Wednesday, the new listing had already been viewed more than 778,000 times. The high bid for the sandwich as of 5 p.m. was more than $69.000.
It's always extra when I see a face in the stone.

honest to god, there was a mason here in my hometown that contracted to wainescote a house here.he got like 6 bucks a foot for labor.i had priced the same job for 2.50.anyway abour 2 years after i bid the job, another mason stopped by my job and was chatting with me about different things.he told me about this guy who stopped by his job and asked if he had a bucket of mud he could buy.he told him he could just have it.then the guy asked how much he got for laying adheered veener.he told him like 3 bucks, then they guy asked how much more to grout it.the mason was like,3 bucks covers that.
seems the guy who got 6 bucks didnt grout the stone, and told him that would be extra.needless to say that mason is now cutting trees.

11-15 here, to GC's. 17-20 to regular customers.

I only know, not because I put any of it in, but because I ask almost everyone what they charge. I'm nosy like that.
