Concreet Curbing

I need to make about 55' of concreet curbing does any one have a easy way to make the forums. I have not done any curb since the early 90s I would like to pour it all at once . I think we would make the curbs 24" deep, 8" wide at the top,10" at the bottom with a 8" slope on the front . I bid to do cobble stone curb on the store front but the town wants concreet curbing on the main drag . What is a good mix to rub out the front of the curb with when we pull the fourms. I think we used portland and play sand . Its been 18years since Ive finished a curb . Thanks for the backup .

A curb in New York without air entrained concrete? - Don' t give any guarantees.

You may want to check the locals specs a little closer unless you want to move away and not do busines there again.

Re: Concreet Curbing

What ? I have not done anty road work . This is in a privite parking lot. Its not for the state . The zoneing board is calling for the curb work . What is air intrained concreet ? I would not want to have a problem with the curb. Ive done tones of masonary work but mostly on additions and single famly homes .Ive done lots of belgum block set in 4000psi concreet or a 123 concreet mix on site . Tell me more please . I dont need to no how much to charge because the curb was a last minute give away on a larger job a few BB would be a picae of cake for us.

Re: Concreet Curbing

I need to make a standerd street curb in front of a building with plantings in back and pavement in front .It needs to have a small ramp for wheel chairs to roll into the store . The plan shows a 8" hight with a ramp 4' long . seems steep 2" per foot ? I have the concreet coming for the slab floor on Wed and would like to finish the site work before we start framing the place .
