Coldest Weather For Cultured Stone On Exterior?


What is the coldest temp. you guys do exterior cultured stone in? What sort of problems arise in the cold weather?

Read your specs. 40* and dropping-no go. Unless you tent it and heat it.

Some of the thinsets you don't want it below 50* if you can help it.

Thank you CJKarl. Those are the highs we have been hitting the last couple of days, so I think we will have to wait until spring for the stone. Too much spanned out to cover and heat.

Have you seen the size of the tents you can build?

I get tarps 100' x '40.
