Re: Brick / Paver Cutting Question
Eric,
While I don't speak for anyone else, I think it is safe to say that most guys are not going to want to stop cutting to clean the filter. If it could be cleaned at the end of the day, ready to go tomorrow, its going to be something guys will look at. I think if your looking at 2,000 cuts a day, the chop saw set up isn't really attractive as it has no slide table and is really only used when a few cuts are needed. If you could comfortably get above 200 cuts I think some of us smaller outfits that only have 1 or 2 masons on the job will consider this type of machine. I think I tried to get information from the manufacturer at WAC, but still haven't received any thing yet. Keep asking questions, I think most of us like the idea of being able to provide input on new epuipment design.

Re: Brick / Paver Cutting Question
Recently my outfit has been cutting more brick and pavers (for different reasons, but anyway). I found this Husqvarna saw that works great, and for the price, I don't see how you could beat it.
check it out. it's the Husqvarna PS1421 Portasaw |

Re: Brick / Paver Cutting Question
Not to me. It has to be able to cut more than just brick otherwise it is useless to me.

Re: Brick / Paver Cutting Question
Eric I think you're going to find that %95 of us on here will want a saw that cuts block as well as brick.
