Best Way To Switch To Masonry Contracting

Hello, After doing some general contracting (carpentry), I want to switch over to masonry. What's the best way to get the requisite knowledge and skills to become an expert mason? Thanks.

Go get a job as a tender for 3 years, stay on the line and learn for another 2-3. Then start buying your equipment, do side jobs, build a reputation, then start calling around looking to put bids in.

...and just remember, you never learn anything by doing it right...you learn by F-ing it up and having to fix it on your dollar.

Why does your Trade say, "Programming" if you are claiming to be a General Contractor?
