Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
I'll stick with the Paslode Impulse. Clean and oil it occasionally, good to go. Only downside is cold weather performance, I keep a feul cell in my pants pocket and swap back and forth when it acts up.

Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
I shot a couple nails with one at a trade show, and it worked great. Now I want to get a hold of one to try for real work and see how they work out. They make sense over other cordless guns since all my 18v cordless is Dewalt.

Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
The Dewalt gun works great. It is somewhat heavy, but well balanced. It requires no maintenance, and no fuel cells - just a battery. It bump fires very quickly. I have a Senco cordless and it's junk. Dewalt got it right.

Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
I too have one and I love it especially for small jobs. Dewalts new one takes 15ga finish nails same as our corded nailguns Thats great only have to carry 15 ga in the truck. My dewalt is a 16 gauge angled 18 volt. All I can say is I wish they would make a framer

Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
When dewalt came out I really tried to dislike them. After all, they are a black and decker company. B and d tools suck. But you cant beat dewalt. When they come out with a framer I'll have one. My impulse was stolen recently. So I might wait a while for the framer.

Re: Wtb Dewalt Cordless Nail Gun
Dewalt was reintroduced as what it is today because Black and Decker wanted to change their target market from professionals to home owners, without loosing the professional market. In other words, Dewalt is the original Black and Decker. I have a number of Dewalt tools, and they have proved to be good tools.
