I wonder what shipping would cost on 18-20,000 lbs. of nails?

The phrase "I need to get rid of these" doesn't sit right with me.

First post from a painter? Not unusual at all eh?

Probably taken "in trade" for a final payment.

I've seen some developers keep a pretty sizable fastener inventory, maybe not 600 boxes, but they weren't large developments either. Maybe they "fell off the back of a truck."

Yeah...it is nothing like that. I am located just outside of Indianapolis. They did not fall off of the back of a truck. I got a great deal off of them directly from Senco. I have great friends there. The reason I need to get rid of them is because they take up too much @#@$ space. I have alot more nails and screws as well. I bought a truckload. I can send you a list of the nails and dura spin screws available if necessary.

Those two items are an 8d coil smooth framing nail...and a 3.5" full round head framing nail. I cannot deliver. I can arrange delivery for you. I know a good trucking company.

I'd be interested in some of the 3 1/2 non-coiled and duraspins 1 5/8 drywall 06A162P and 1 1/4 cement backer board to wood 08T125W

Post your prices and quanties on those duraspins, (I'm assuming these are the colated bucket containers). You should assume we would be doing something involving a 3rd party escrow.

How the hell does a painter end up with so many nails?

Sound fishy to me, might want to put a min. post count on this section of the forum.

Hey! Do not knock it!

I will buy ANYTHING at "The Right Price".

Profit is NEVER made in "The Sale". It is made in the "Purchase Price"!

My ONLY constraint is the "Who" I am purchasing said item from.

About 6 months ago Senco closed down one location & had a huge clean up sale. They've consolidated much of their operation, & relocated about 1/2 mile from my shop in part of a huge closed down 3M plant. I have a brother that bought a few pallets of nails dirt cheap, & some other odds & ends. It could easily be legit.
