2009 Qb

Hi folks.
I have the Quick Books Program for sale 2009.
I bought it last week and my Accountant told me that I didn't need it because I'm only one person. So I have the
QuickBooks Premier Industry Edition Contractor. You get it for $125. I bought MS Excel instead, that's what he told me to get. If I do employ someone down the road, All I need to do is call the taxation office and they will send me a payroll disk for free. At least that's what they told me.
Anyway let me know if you want this program.
DarnMike.

Re: 2009 Qb

WTF?

Dude, time to sell the accountant instead of Quickbooks. He wants you to use a spread sheet program?

Did he tell you to get some shoe boxes and paper bags to keep your receipts in too, and that he doesn't believe in a bank checking account that you should keep your money in the back yard in mason jars?

Get a new accountant, that's absolutely ridiculous.

I think your accountant is wrong, but I will buy the Program from you, unless you have already installed it and registered it.

Send me your contact information and I will make arrangements to pay you.

Thanks

Definitely get a new accountant. Preferably one that didn't get his degree from a box of Cracker Jacks.

Re: 2009 Qb

Hi Folks
I don't mind using Excel, I find it easier. I did install the program so I guess it's pretty much useless to anyone else eh.
The reason for excel is because the Accountant has excel like every other one does and I don't mind paying my self the book keeper fee's to take care of my own biz. I load the info onto a zip file and give it to him and 1 day later tada he's done. I love excel, good program me thinks. You guys obviously like QB. I prefer Excel. As tradesmen we have to make a choice that fits us not someone else.

Re: 2009 Qb

It's not a preference thing.

Is painting a house with a q-tip versus a paint brush a preference thing?

You have no idea how badly this is going to end up.

I keep mine in the file cabinet, what do you do Mike? I am thinking you may not keep yours from your comment and now I'm confused.
