Topic Subscriptions Did Not Arrive Yesterday - Contractor Talk - Professional Construction and Remodeling Forum

Nathan,

Just an FYI. I did not receive any topic subscriptions in my e-mail last night since the new server went on-line.

Maybe it is set for a different time like the last time you switched servers, but just seeing if anyone else received their subsrciption e-mail notices.

Hmmm...... I wonder if that's just from the move and it will start back up again or if it's a real problem. Let's give it a day and see what happens.

I figure it just must be a clock re-set, but I wanted to let you know in case others had that issue.

Another issue that I just noticed a little while ago.

I did not get an e-mail for the recent reported post today. I checked the Inbox and the Bulk folders and it did not arrive at all.

Not that I know of that would prevent this type of an e-mail.

Let me get back to you tomorrow or the next day on that alert item.

Who knows, I may have deleted it earlier without thinking, since I new I was going on the site shortly.

Nope.

I just checked my e-mail trash bin and the Reported Post was not in there and all of the other ones I dumped today are.

I still will get back to you tomorrow about it after checking it out with a bit more scrutiny.

Got it in my email tonight, but I already knew from yesterdays visit here...so much faster now and with all the new bells and whistles too.

Just an update.

I did not get the e-mails for the 2 Reported Posts that happened earlier this morning yet.

Also, I am still waiting till tonight to see if the subscriptions e-mails come through.

Okay Nathan,

I waited until after Midnight and I still have not received any Subscription Updates, nor any Reported Posts all day long.

I also have previously checked my Profile and Options in my User CP to ensure that it was still set to alert for the Subscriptions, which it was.

Any suggestions???

When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.

Same here, nothing over the last few days, it happened right after the move.

Ron, it is also a setting in your Options section in your User Profile to subscribe to all threads you post in. Thats how mine is set.

They just changed the settings a few minutes before I posted that so lets see if it's improved moving forward.

Nathan, I received 2 email notifications tonight at the same time Ron posted about the email test. I thought it was a site test. My notifications are set for receive no email notifications. When I checked the post it said I was subscribed to that post, but I did not subscribe to it.

Sorry for the mix up Ron, thought it was you that was preforming the test or something.
