Something is wrong.

Nathan

I'm getting strange ads on this site, almost looks like a hack job, Check it out, here is a screen shot, finding these ads on the bottom of the forums, sometime at top.

Do a disk cleanup (in accessories, system tools. DO NOT "Compress old files") and a spyware cleanup. You can download for free at Downloads.com.

What protection are you using?

Norton? McAfee? Get rid of and Download AVAST!

Goodie!

Do this REGULARLY as well as Defragment.

Purchase a Registry Repair, do NOT get a free one. NO "Pee Cee TOOLS" CRAP! (I spelled it out to avoid any more advertising via click. It is just the two letters not the phonetic. DO NOT USE)

If you really want a REALLY great protection device.......Get CyberScrub. Talk to David. He is VERY One-On-One. Cheap as well. It will scrub the hell out of your drives in a very efficient way.

Thanks

I think I was hijacked, I hate people who pull crap like that, to think my grandkids use my computer to play on the net, that's all I needed was hijacks to show them crap like that.

It is what it is!!!! Do the CleanUp!!!! Every Time!!!

If you all get smart and get a Registry Cleaner, especially Registry Repair Wizard 2009, it has a COMPREHENSIVE History Scrubber!

They are not but $20 or $30!

If you are using a version of Mozilla [Seamonkey, Firefox, etc] get Ad Block Plus...it's free.
If you are using MS Internet Explorer - ditch it and go with a Mozilla based browser...also free.

MSIE is a favorite target of hacks, script kiddies, and assorted malcontents.

This is one of the ones that I use. It finds many things the others miss. It is free for the scanner and has a purchase price for the realtime version. My son had a virus that nothing else would get rid of. This got it first time.

Sorry I missed this yesterday. I'm only 26 hours late

Glad it got resolved though... it's a fairly common problem.

Yes all fixed now. I have Spyware Terminator, a free program, running in the background now. It lets me know when ever there is a change taking place and will ask for permission 1st.
