Reset?

Okay, Cyber Dummy here.
I clicked "Mark Forums Read"
thinking that I could red flag
certain threads to remind me
to avoid them.
Wellll, that's not how it works.
It changed the display when I
click "New Posts."
How do I get back to the way
things were displayed before?
I miss the good ol' days.

Re: Reset?

Time.

I did that a while ago too. It seemed like a logical button to click, didn't it?

Now, is the New Posts pretty much empty?

If so, thats what happened to me, so it just took some time to rebuild.

Re: Reset?

Not real sure I am following you. When you click mark all forums read, it basically just makes it where when you click new posts, none show up.

Now when people start posting in threads again, you will see them in the new posts.

I use the mark forums read button, right before I get off for the night, so I know that when I check in the morning, all the posts will be new.

Yeah, never used it before,
if I read them they aren't "bolded"
anymore, and I can skip around
according to what sounds most
interesting at the time, or quickest
to absor or respond to.
Now I have to go to "Today's Posts"
and the unread isn't in bold.
I need all the memory aids I can get!

Just thought there might be a magic
Undo button some where.

Join the dip-chit crowd.

I bet if there was a warning to NOT click that button, I would have done so much sooner.

There is also an F-Key that does the same thing to you.

It will straighten out in 1-3 days, but at least you already learned about the Todays Posts button hidden in the drop down menu on the top tool bar.

Great, now I finally get to pass my Dunce Hat to someone else.

Fine!
But it had better nest with
all of the others I'm already
wearing.
