Project Forman


Im trying to get a city permit for the remodeling of my business. the city keeps denying my permits due to a title 24. i know its a handycap code, but how do i become good with title 24 so i can get my permits.

No offense, but you haven't given nearly enough information to get help here. If I wee you, I'd be asking the permit department "what do I have to do to get my permit approved?" I would think they would tell you since they are the ones denying your permits.

If you're in California, Title 24 is that state's Nazi-esque Energy Code. You can read it here: http://www.energy.ca.gov/title24/

If you're in some other state, Title 24 may be a state adaptation of 28 CFR, Part 36, which we more commonly call "The American's With Disabilities Act". You can read its full text here: http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/adastd94.pdf
